Their home lacks walls, their kitchen is empty, and even the idea of a traditional wedding feels like a luxury. There are no brothers, no extended family, just a frail father unable to walk due to a work injury, and a mother who earns every morsel by cleaning others’ homes.
This is not just about helping with a wedding—it’s about giving dignity to a family that has known only struggle. Let’s come together as a society to become their strength. Because when a community supports its daughters, that’s where true religion lies.
Basic Wedding Essentials & Ritual Supplies
A traditional Indian wedding involves customs that carry deep emotional and cultural value. But in this case, even the bare minimum—a pair of clean clothes, some bangles, and pooja samagri—is out of reach. Your contribution can help them perform their rituals with respect and joy, something every girl dreams of on her big day. Let’s ensure they don’t feel less just because they are poor.
Household Setup for a New Beginning
After marriage, every daughter steps into a new life, full of hopes and responsibilities. But what if she has no utensils to cook with or no bedding to sleep on in her new home? By providing basic household items—plates, storage containers, bedding, and kitchen necessities—you’re helping these girls step into marriage with dignity, not dependence.
Protection for Their Parents Left Behind
After their daughters’ weddings, the elderly parents will be left alone—with no stable shelter and little income. They sleep under a leaking roof and barely manage daily meals. A donation for a waterproof roof cover, proper bedding, and some essential supplies will offer them a safer, more comfortable life. Let’s not forget the ones who stay behind.
